The WeirdCo campaign exceeded its $100 thousand goal by 270 times and entered the top three Kickstarter fundraisers.

The crowdfunding campaign for the official Cyberpunk Trading Card Game ended on April 18, 2026, with a final result of nearly $27 million from about 47.7 thousand backers. The initial goal of $100 thousand was surpassed within minutes after the launch on March 17 — and since then the funding never stopped, turning Cyberpunk TCG into the most successful collectible card game in crowdfunding history and the third largest Kickstarter project of all time. Along the way, the record of Brandon Sanderson’s Cosmere RPG campaign — the previous champion among tabletop games — was broken.

The game was developed by the WeirdCo studio in close collaboration with CD PROJEKT RED. The physical card game brings the universe of Cyberpunk 2077 and the anime series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners to the table: players assemble teams of iconic characters — V, Johnny Silverhand, Panam, Judy, Adam Smasher — and fight for control over Night City. The uniqueness of the project lies in the original artistic design of the cards, created in collaboration with artists from CDPR itself.The first set, "Welcome to Night City," will be released at the end of 2026 and will focus on characters from Cyberpunk 2077; the second set will be entirely dedicated to the Edgerunners universe.
