\n\nValve will launch a queue for gamepad reservations and introduce restrictions against resellers.

Valve announced that on May 8 it will open the queue for Steam Controller pre-orders. At the same time, the company clarified that it has revised the purchase rules to make the process more convenient for regular users and reduce reseller activity.Reservations can be made starting at 8:00 PM Moscow time. Only one gamepad can be reserved per account, and after receiving the order confirmation email, the buyer will have 72 hours to complete the purchase. Users who have previously purchased a Steam Controller will not be able to reserve the device again. Additionally, the account must have no bans and must have made at least one purchase on Steam before April 27, 2026. Shipments will start in phases: in the USA and Canada from May 11, and in the UK, EU countries, and Australia from May 18.
