The classic NVIDIA graphics card control panel is becoming a thing of the past.
On May 26, NVIDIA released the Game Ready driver 610.47 — timed with the releases of LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight and 007 First Light. Along with it, the company announced the end of support for Control Panel: from now on, all key graphics card settings are concentrated in the unified NVIDIA App.Plans to transition to the new application were outlined back in February 2024, when an updated version of NVIDIA App was released. Now the transition is complete — but with a caveat: some functions for owners of RTX PRO series graphics cards have not yet been transferred, so they are advised to temporarily continue using Control Panel.The application itself will not be removed from the Microsoft Store, but it will no longer receive any updates.
