NVIDIA introduced a new family of RTX Spark chips that combine central and graphics processors in one solution. According to the company, this makes them optimal for AI tasks, professional graphics, and gaming. The flagship version is equipped with a 20-core processor, 6144 CUDA cores, and 128 GB of LPDDR5X memory, and also supports all proprietary technologies: DLSS, ray tracing, and others. More affordable models will appear later.
NVIDIA's partners include Microsoft, ASUS, Lenovo, HP, and other major manufacturers. They are already working on more than 30 laptops and ten mini-PCs based on RTX Spark. The first devices will go on sale in the fall of 2026. In terms of performance, the chip is comparable to the mobile RTX 5070, and the battery charge should last a full working day under moderate load.
The first device shown in detail was the Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra — according to the company, its most powerful laptop to date. It will feature a 15-inch touch mini-LED screen with 2000 nits brightness, a set of USB-C, USB-A, HDMI ports, and an SD card slot, weighing about 2 kg. The price has not yet been announced.
