One teaser, two announcements, one update — the Dragon Ball franchise keeps things exciting.
Toei Animation released a teaser for the new anime series "Dragon Ball Super: Beerus" — a remake of the first story arc of "Dragon Ball Super," which tells the story of Beerus, the God of Destruction. The premiere is scheduled for fall 2026; simultaneously, a full second season has been announced, with details to be revealed later. On the gaming front, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 was announced: the project will be released in 2027 on PC (Steam), PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. The main character will be an original character personally developed by Akira Toriyama before his departure — the studio managed to work with the manga author on his concept.
Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO will receive a large-scale DLC this summer featuring 20 new fighters, four arenas, a fresh game mode, super attack customization, and an updated combat system. The game is currently available on all current platforms with a 50% discount. Finally, on April 22, Dragon Ball FighterZ was updated with the character Goku in Super Saiyan 4 form from "Dragon Ball Daima."
