The official website of the anime adaptation of the manga "Red River" announced the premiere date — July 7 on the Nippon TV channel.
At the same time, the key visual and information about seven new characters and their voice actors were presented. In particular, the role of Kikkuri will be voiced by Tomohiro Ohno, Hadi — Shiki Aoki, Kasha — Haruki Ishi, and Rusafu — Junya Enoki.

The plot is based on the story of a modern Japanese schoolgirl who finds herself transported to ancient Anatolia and is perceived by the locals as the embodiment of the war goddess Ishtar.
The manga was published in Shojo Comic magazine from 1995 to 2002 and sold over 20 million copies.
The anime is directed by Kosuke Kobayashi, with music by Yoshihisa Hirano. The production is handled by Tatsunoko Production studio.
