Netflix released a teaser for the full-length anime "The Ribbon Hero" — an adaptation of Osamu Tezuka's cult manga "Princess Knight." The film will be available on the streaming platform on August 8.The story, according to the creators' description, tells of a lonely heroine who challenges a cruel fate. The original manga told the story of Princess Sapphire, who was forced to hide her true identity under the guise of a boy to claim the right to the throne.The director is Yuki Igarashi, known to audiences for the series Mob Psycho 100. Character design is handled by Mai Yoneyama, who worked on Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, and Kei Motizuki from Fate/Grand Order.
