The studio J.C.Staff will adapt the popular Korean manhwa about a player who found the path to legend.



Announced anime series based on the manhwa "Overgeared." The project is being worked on by the studio J.C.Staff, with the premiere scheduled for October. The story centers on the immersive virtual reality game SATISFY, which its fans have nicknamed the "second world" due to its astonishing realism.The main character is Grid, a chronic loser who has spent all his savings on games and long given up on society. A chance discovery of a rare artifact during a routine quest opens an unexpected opportunity for him: to sell it, pay off debts, and break free from the vicious cycle. However, instead of an easy way out, the quest unexpectedly changes — and for the first time in his life, Grid faces a chance to make history in the game. Now he must decide whether to continue or if it’s time to return to reality.
