After the successful release of the second season, the streaming service announced the upcoming release of the final part of the series.



The animated series Devil May Cry will receive a continuation, which will be the last for the project. According to showrunner Adi Shankar, he originally planned this project not as a classic TV show, but as a full-fledged film trilogy, simply divided into episodes.
The plot structure of the adaptation is closely intertwined with Dante Alighieri's "Divine Comedy." That is why the upcoming third season symbolizes "Paradise" and logically concludes the overall arc of the work.

Netflix representatives have not yet disclosed the exact premiere date, limiting themselves to a promise to release the finale "soon." For comparison, the release of the second season took place in May, thirteen months after the debut episodes aired.


The continuation of the story was warmly received by the audience.

User ratings on the IMDb portal show that the new episodes surpassed the first season. Viewers especially highly appreciated the improved quality of the action scenes and the deep development of the relationship between Dante and Vergil.
