The creators of Stellar Blade have gained control over a team working on an original game for PC and consoles, and plan to self-publish it.
The South Korean studio Shift Up, known for the action game Stellar Blade, has acquired the Japanese team Unbound, led by Shinji Mikami, co-creator of Resident Evil, as well as the author of The Evil Within and Ōkami.
Unbound specializes in developing games for PC and consoles and is currently working on a new original IP aimed at the global market.
