The studio OtherSide Entertainment, founded by one of the key creators of System Shock and Deus Ex, Warren Spector, presented a new trailer for the stealth action game Thick as Thieves and announced the release date — May 20. The game is set in an alternative 1910s: players will take on the role of thief-wizards who embark on risky raids in search of magical trophies. The project can be played both solo and in two-player co-op .
Initially, Thick as Thieves was positioned as a PvPvE immersive sim, where player gangs compete against each other and AI within the same heists, but in early April the developers announced a change of direction and abandoned the competitive component in favor of focusing on cooperative heists and a more intimate stealth experience.
