Independent teams have agreed on mutual support and plan to open their own publishing house in the future.




Independent studios Sad Cat (Replaced), Weappy (This is the Police), Unfrozen (HoMM: Olden Era), VEA Games (Nikoderiko: The Magical World), and Game Garden (Farmdale) announced the creation of an alliance called Nova Assembly. This is not a merger of companies nor a single “super studio” — each team will continue working on their own projects, but the developers have officially agreed to help each other during production, marketing, and release stages.The idea is that the success of one studio will support the others: if someone’s project takes off, its creators will be able to voluntarily financially back their colleagues so they won’t have to make “harmful compromises” such as drastic layoffs or investor-imposed decisions. Members of Nova Assembly also plan to share specialists, developments, and internal technologies among themselves — from convenient dialogue editors to new optimization methods that will become a shared resource for all.The main goal of the alliance is to protect each other from layoffs and the growing instability in the gaming industry. The head of Nova Assembly is Denis Fyodorov, founder of Unfrozen, and the role of creative director was taken by Ilya Yanovich from Weappy.
