Studio Pearl Abyss shared plans for the development of Crimson Desert in the coming months: by June, the game will receive new quests, additional features, and a number of interface adjustments. Among the planned updates are additional quests so that players always have challenges as their character grows stronger, and the ability to fight previously defeated bosses again, choosing any of them at any time to test skills. Also, over time, enemies will begin to besiege previously liberated locations again, which will bring back a sense of constant threat to the world.Crimson Desert will feature three difficulty levels so that both newcomers and fans of serious challenges can comfortably experience the project. Special attention will be given to additional playable characters: Damian and Unk will receive new skills, as the team agreed they lacked depth. To enhance immersion, an option to hide weapons on the back during peaceful times will be added.The developers will also introduce several types of storage: a food warehouse with access to ingredients directly during cooking, a wardrobe for costumes, a resource warehouse, and a collection storage for quest items.
