Hackers from ShinyHunters are demanding a ransom until April 14, threatening to publish corporate information.
At the beginning of April, the ShinyHunters group claimed to have hacked Rockstar's infrastructure through a third-party analytics platform Anodot, which is used to monitor the company's financial and cloud expenses. According to them, through Anodot they managed to gain access to Rockstar's Snowflake environment and extract internal data. The attackers issued an ultimatum: by April 14, the studio must pay the ransom, otherwise the hackers promise to release the stolen materials online and "create a series of digital problems for the company."
