On April 14, Battlefield 6 received update 1.2.3.0, which introduced a new temporary mode, fresh samples of vehicles and weapons, as well as a number of systemic UI and sound improvements. The main event of the patch was Operation "Augur": players will have to fight for the Hagental base, where according to the storyline NATO forces are trying to regain control of the Pax Armata satellite defense network that was captured. The battles take place in two phases — first on the Contaminated map in the open air, then in the tight corridors of the base itself.Among the new content is the LTV off-road vehicle and the Ripper 14” blade, access to which is unlocked through the mini battle pass Hunter/Prey. The progression system has also been reworked: experience for weapons and vehicles is now awarded not only for kills and assists but also for active actions (using gadgets, maneuvering, support), and the overall leveling speed in multiplayer has been slightly increased. The developers also refined the audio design — hit sounds have become clearer, and quick damage is easier to track; projectile behavior has been made more predictable. Defibrillators and the AJ-03 COAG medical syringe received buffs, and the menu, missions, equipment, end screens, store, and battle pass interfaces were redesigned for better readability.
