The magazine gave Bungie's shooter a 9/10, while the new Pearl Abyss project received only 5/10.
The British magazine EDGE published a new list of reviews, where the main favorite was the futuristic shooter Marathon from Bungie — the game was awarded an impressive 9 out of 10 points, noting strong design and presentation. Critics also counted Darwin’s Paradox from Konami and Pokemon Pokopia for Switch 2 among the successful releases: both titles received 8 points, securing their status as some of the most successful games of the current season.
However, several high-profile projects failed to meet expectations. The open-world action game Crimson Desert and the story continuation Life is Strange: Reunion received only 5 points each, hinting at serious problems with pacing, structure, or gameplay implementation. Critics were even harsher on the historical The House of Hikmah — only 3 points and the title of the main failure of the selection .
