The debut project from Sandfall Interactive won three main awards of the evening in London on April 17.
At the BAFTA Games Awards 2026 ceremony, held on April 17 at London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall, the undisputed triumph was the role-playing game Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 by Sandfall Interactive. In addition to the top prize — “Best Game” — it received statuettes in the categories “Best Debut” and “Best Leading Performance”: the latter was awarded to Jennifer English for the role of Mael. Clair Obscur led this year’s list of nominees with twelve nominations — and lived up to the expectations of critics and the industry.

The second most awarded title was Dispatch from AdHoc Studio, winning three prizes: “Best Animation,” “Achievement in Sound,” and “Best Supporting Performance” — Jeffrey Wright for the role of Chase.
