80 points on Metacritic and 10.4 million dollars in revenue: the noir shooter in the style of the 1930s has found its audience.
Australian publisher PlaySide published an interim financial report confirming sales of Mouse: P.I. for Hire at the level of 360 thousand copies. The total revenue across all platforms amounted to 10.4 million dollars, however, PlaySide's own revenue was less — 6.3 million after deducting platform holder commissions, VAT, and refunds. Even before its release on Steam, 47 thousand pre-orders were placed; console sales (PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2) accounted for 44% of the total print run, with the rest being sales on PC.
