Hideo Kojima posted a series of photos from the Valve office on social media — for the first time in seven years: the previous visit took place in 2018, when he was photographed together with the company’s founder Gabe Newell. This time, the game designer limited himself to atmospheric shots of the interiors, without revealing the purpose of the trip. This immediately sparked a wave of speculation: the most popular version links the visit to Kojima’s possible involvement in the development of Half-Life 3 — as a consultant or co-author. There are precedents: in 2016 he visited Valve to develop a skin for CS:GO.
The second stop of the weekly "tour" was the Microsoft office: Kojima met with Asha Sharma, Matt Booty, and the head of the gaming division Phil Spencer. This meeting seems natural — Kojima Productions officially collaborates with Xbox Game Studios on the horror project OD, whose debut trailer has already caused a wide resonance. As usual, the details of the talks were not disclosed.
