The developers of Titan Quest II released a fresh hotfix focused on reworking summoning mechanics and balancing different types of minions. The main goal of the patch is to remove biases in favor of certain combinations and make summoning builds more diverse.Significant changes affected the Core Dweller: its armor was reduced, and the effectiveness of combinations with Fissure, which allowed dealing excessively high damage, was noticeably decreased. At the same time, the developers weakened the enhanced buffs and overall damage scaling for summoned creatures.Simultaneously, less popular summons were strengthened: Wisps received a noticeable upgrade, Automatons had their damage and attack angle increased, and the Shadow Clone became faster and more dangerous. Additionally, minion survivability was increased due to adjustments related to health stats.New modifiers were added to the game: Frenzied increases damage and attack speed at the cost of reducing maximum health, while Autonomous Strength boosts damage but disables Empower and increases energy reserve, opening alternative build options. Furthermore, the duration of Strong Awakening was increased and the formulas for bonuses to speed and damage were revised. As a result, the hotfix makes summoning builds more balanced, weakening overly strong combinations and boosting less popular ones.
