TT Games studio has updated the PC game specifications. Now, to achieve 60 FPS, the developers openly rely on upscaling technologies, which has raised questions among fans.

Previously, the creators of the new DC universe action game had already adjusted the system requirements on Steam, lowering the RAM demands from 32 to 16 GB. However, the recent update from TT Games alarmed gamers: the new specifications make active use of upscaling and frame generation mandatory. This is a controversial decision, as frame generation is usually recommended to be enabled when 60 fps is already achieved to enhance smoothness, not to reach this basic threshold (a similar criticism was previously faced by Monster Hunter Wilds).
According to the new data, to play at 1440p resolution with 60 fps (using the "Quality" upscaling preset and enabled frame generation), an Intel Core i7-12700 processor paired with an RTX 2070 Super graphics card is required. The developers also revealed for the first time the configuration for 4K gaming with similar AI assistant settings: it requires an i7-14700K and RTX 4070. Obviously, the reduction in GPU requirements (previous versions recommended an RTX 3080) happened precisely due to shifting the load onto DLSS and FSR technologies. The game is scheduled for release on May 22 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, with the Switch 2 version coming later.
