The upcoming cooperative shooter from the creators of Barotrauma is attracting more and more attention: players are massively adding the project to their wishlists.
Developers from the FakeFish studio, known for the successful cooperative hit Barotrauma, have boasted new achievements of their next project — the survival shooter Frostrail. The number of times the game has been added to Steam wishlists is rapidly growing: while in spring this figure was around 300 thousand, it has now surpassed 400,000.
The action of Frostrail takes place in the setting of an icy post-apocalypse. Players will take on the role of survivors traveling through a frozen world on a massive armored train — their only safe refuge. To avoid dying from the cold and attacks by terrifying mutants, the team will have to regularly undertake dangerous raids for supplies, upgrade their crew, and craft new weapons.
The game’s early access release on Steam is expected in 2026.
