Half a year after release — half of the players have spent 100+ hours in the game.
Nexon published a report for the first quarter of 2026 with data on the extraction shooter ARC Raiders from the studio Embark.Six months after launch, the game reached 16 million copies sold — in February, the figure was 14 million. More than half of the active users spent over one hundred hours in the project. Two other multiplayer games from Embark, previously mentioned by the studio head Patrick Söderlund, are in early stages of development — no release is expected in the foreseeable future.Shortly before the report, the developers changed the support schedule: instead of frequent patches, the game will receive two major updates per year. The largest update since release is planned for October 2026 — for the shooter’s first anniversary. The update will include paid and free content to attract a new audience.
