The third-person action game Blades of Fire has become available on Steam a year after launching on the Epic Games Store and on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. The game now features a “New Game+” mode, allowing players to replay the story while retaining most of their progress. Enemies scale according to the hero’s stats, and 27 unique statues with new weapon details have been unlocked in the forges.For the hardcore audience, a Titanium difficulty level was added: enemies have become more resilient, deal more damage, and boss fights require more precise timing. There is also the option to fight bosses again in the arena and earn rewards for speedrunning.Along with the update, the “Arakna” system was introduced: arena medals can be exchanged with the companion Adso for spells with passive bonuses. Resource transmutation directly in the forge has also been added.Additionally, the update includes a photo mode, achievements, improved controls, DLSS 4 and Steam Deck support, as well as revamped animations. Among the unusual new features is the ability to pet the bull.
