Players will be allowed to separately adjust combat, including four-directional parrying.
The Blood of Dawnwalker will offer not only four basic difficulty levels but also more fine-tuned adjustment of individual gameplay elements. This was explained by game director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz in an interview with Game Informer. The developers paid special attention to the combat system, where attacks and blocks are tied to four directions. This mechanic is already familiar from For Honor and Kingdom Come: Deliverance, but it often causes debates among players, so Rebel Wolves decided to provide more customization options. In addition to standard modes, the game will feature omni-attacks and omni-blocks. They do not require considering the direction of the strike but consume more stamina.Tomaszkiewicz did not specify whether difficulty will affect the timer, although this seems unlikely: the time limit is an important part of both the story and gameplay. The release of The Blood of Dawnwalker is scheduled for September 3 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Pre-orders are already open.
