In MOBAs, everything comes down to one thing — gathering more resources than the opponent and converting that advantage into a victory. That is why the hardest task in the genre is playing from behind. In Deadlock, there is a soul urn for this purpose, and the latest “small update” has radically changed how it works.Previously, a player who picked up the urn became visible to the entire map and had to deliver it to a turn-in point, which shifted depending on the team’s position. Now the urn must always be turned in strictly at the center of the map, after which a capture phase with a timer begins. The more a team is behind, the faster the meter fills — but enemies can hit the urn, adding seconds and intercepting control over it.If the carrier holds the urn too long without turning it in, they begin to take significant damage. This makes avoiding combat practically impossible. Additionally, the mid-boss now spawns from the very start of the match, opening new tactical opportunities for aggressive teams. The patch also includes nerfs to the character Doorman and a general reduction of base health for all heroes.
