Hello Games has launched a large-scale event featuring factions, drones, and team battles.

The studio Hello Games released a major update called The Swarm for No Man's Sky — the third significant expansion for the game in 2026. At the center of the event is an enemy Hive Ship threatening to destroy the entire universe. The ship is protected by power armor, armed with a laser cannon, and surrounded by a swarm of combat drones.Players can join one of three factions and confront the Hive. Despite the rivalry for glory, members of different teams need to cooperate to achieve a common goal — creating a special core that weakens the enemy. The progress of its construction can be tracked in the Space Anomaly. In addition to direct battles with drones in open space, players can participate in expeditions to collect strategic data and salvage damaged ships.Rewards are provided for participating in the event: a jetpack skin, decorative posters, flags, and a unique rifle. The gravity gun from the February update will come in handy in close combat. On the occasion of The Swarm release, there is a 60% discount on the game itself on Steam.
