The studio GamesVoice announced the start of fundraising to create a Russian-language dubbing for the Phantom Liberty expansion of Cyberpunk 2077. The campaign's target amount is 3,002,077 rubles. According to the team, work on the voiceover is already one of the priority directions.Actors who worked on the original Russian voiceover of Cyberpunk 2077 have been involved in the project. The studio also promised to regularly publish updates on the production progress. GamesVoice specifically noted that the project does not contradict CD Projekt RED's policy regarding fan creations — the developers previously publicly confirmed the permissibility of such initiatives.In case of force majeure, a backup plan is provided: if the project has to be stopped for reasons beyond control, the collected funds will be used to create the voiceover for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Phantom Liberty was released in 2023 and became the only major expansion for Cyberpunk 2077, receiving high praise from critics and players.
