In an episode of the Insider Gaming podcast, journalists Tom Henderson and Mike Stroh shared details about upcoming Star Wars gaming projects. According to Henderson, in the third installment of the Jedi series, players will encounter a noticeably older Cal Kestis — although he is still far from the image of a gray-haired veteran with a sword instead of a cane. Five years have passed between Fallen Order and Survivor, and in the final part, the time jump will apparently be even more significant.The situation around Star Wars Eclipse from Quantic Dream, according to Mike Stroh, has sharply worsened. If in April he assessed the situation as difficult but not catastrophic, now the journalist calls the project a "production hell." According to his information, the studio owner NetEase wants to get rid of Quantic Dream, and the sale of the studio may take place by the end of 2026 or in 2027. The bet on Spellcasters Chronicles as a source of funding for Eclipse did not pay off: the game failed and will close on June 19.Lucasfilm, meanwhile, does not intend to abandon the character — it was previously announced that Cal Kestis will have a place in future stories of the universe.
