Paramount has restructured its gaming division: Skydance Interactive and Skydance New Media studios have been merged into a single unit called Paramount Games Studio. The official goal is to create a team capable of turning major media franchises into large-scale and long-lasting gaming universes.
The new merged entity is led by Tony Driscoll, known for developing the partner program at Epic Games, which brought dozens of global brands into Fortnite. The studio's leadership team has also been strengthened by specialists with experience at Unity, NetherRealm Studios, EA, Rogue Games, and Microsoft. Driscoll emphasized that games are now becoming not a supplementary direction but a strategic priority for Paramount — on par with film and television.
