A musical level featuring "U Can't Touch This" gathered a million views within a day.
A clip of one of the musical levels from the Rayman Legends remake has appeared online — it was posted by an X user under the nickname Dastanovich. The video features a reworked version of the legendary track "U Can't Touch This," released by rapper MC Hammer in 1990. This single helped the album Please Hammer, Don't Hurt 'Em become the first hip-hop record to surpass ten million copies sold.
The level organically integrates the music into the gameplay: a cult phrase from the song is spoken by one of the location's inhabitants, and the ambient sounds become part of the arrangement. There will be four such levels in the remake — this was revealed at the official announcement.
The video quickly gained popularity: at the time of publication, it had gathered a million views, about two thousand reposts, and fourteen thousand likes. The release of the updated version of the game is scheduled for early October.
