The story expansion with a new hero will be released in the fall of 2026.



At the Future Games Show 2026 presentation, Bloober Team officially unveiled the Lazarus story expansion for the survival horror Cronos: The New Dawn. The announcement confirmed recent leaks and was accompanied by a debut trailer.In the expansion, players will take control of a new character — the Warden, who must complete a secret mission while evading pursuit by a mysterious creature. The developers emphasized that the gameplay of Lazarus will differ significantly from the main game: thanks to the Warden’s considerable physical strength, the focus shifts towards aggressive confrontations.The expansion is scheduled for release in fall 2026 for PC and consoles; the price has not yet been announced. The Lazarus page has already appeared on Steam. For reference: the original game was released in September 2025 and sold 500,000 copies within the first three months.
