Patch 1.01.00 brings a substantial amount of new content and fixes — from snow ibexes and rock boars to improved rendering of hair and fur when using FSR-RR and DLSS-RR.

The company Pearl Abyss has released patch 1.01.00 for the action RPG Crimson Desert, adding new content to the game and fixing a number of technical and gameplay issues. The central innovation is five new mounts: White Bear, Silver Fang, White Deer, Rock Tusked Warthog, and Snow Ibex — all scattered across various zones of the open world of Paivel.
Among other significant changes are the appearance of chests with materials across the map and regional farmer shops with the option to buy food in bulk. A new currency has been introduced — "Upgrade Coin," which allows upgrading equipment to the fourth level without spending regular materials; coins are awarded for completing main and faction quests. The inventory mechanic has been reworked: when it is full, excess items are automatically placed in chests, from which crafting resources and other useful items can be retrieved. Interaction range with NPCs has also been extended, pets now stay closer to their owner in combat, and locked doors now have a key-use button.
On the technical front, developers have reduced loading times during fast travel and respawning, as well as improved the display of translucent textures (hair, fur, fabric) when FSR-RR and DLSS-RR modes are activated.
