A mini-teaser is hidden at the end of the Daredevil: Born Again trailer and builds anticipation for the May premiere on Disney Plus.

The first teaser for The Punisher: One Last Kill turned out to be extremely short — literally just a few moments featuring Jon Bernthal in the iconic bulletproof vest, shown at the very end of the trailer for the second season of Daredevil: Born Again. That was still enough for Punisher fans to start discussing his "official return" to the main MCU storyline.

The special episode is positioned as a bridge between the events of Daredevil: Born Again (where Frank did not appear in the first season) and the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which will be released on July 31, 2026. According to Tom Holland, in the new film Peter Parker and Frank Castle develop a kind of "younger brother — older, very dangerous brother" relationship, and the actor himself compared the Punisher’s presence in the story to Tony Stark’s influence on Spidey. The premiere of The Punisher: One Last Kill on Disney Plus is scheduled for May 12, that is, one week after the finale of the second season of Daredevil: Born Again.
