According to Deadline, Charles Dance is in final negotiations to join Matt Reeves' The Batman Part II, set for release on October 1, 2027. The role in question is Charles Dent — father of Harvey Dent, who will be played by Sebastian Stan of MCU fame. Harvey's mother is reportedly set to be played by Scarlett Johansson, whose own negotiations are also said to be in their final stages.
