Hungarian cinematographer Gyula Pados posted on social media a photo of the clapperboard from the filming of The Legend of Zelda adaptation, accompanied by a picture of his film crew patch designed in the style of the original game series. Both posts offer a small but pleasant behind-the-scenes glimpse of the project, which Sony Pictures officially announced as completed back in April during the CinemaCon 2026 presentation. Filming took place from November 2025 to April 2026, primarily in New Zealand — in Wellington and the Glenorchy area of Otago, familiar to fans from The Lord of the Rings.
