Warner Bros. studio is actively building anticipation for its rebooted cinematic universe. Recently, the publication Comic Book revealed a fresh shot from the upcoming blockbuster "Supergirl." In the image, which likely depicts a fragment of the final battle, Kryptonian Kara Zor-El engages in a fierce confrontation with the film's main antagonist — the criminal Krem from the Yellow Hills.The character of Kara on screen will be portrayed by Millie Alcock, whose first appearance in the updated universe is expected in the film "Superman" (2025). The role of the ruthless Krem went to Matthias Schoenaerts.The film's script is based on Tom King's graphic novel "Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow." The plot revolves around a cosmic chase: Kara is tracking a mercenary who severely wounded her dog, Crypto. During the dangerous mission, she is joined by companions with their own motives — the vengeful girl Ruthie (Eve Ridley) and the brutal bounty hunter Lobo, played by Jason Momoa. The film's worldwide release is scheduled for June 26, 2026.
