Streaming giant has released a teaser hinting at the further development of the popular Spanish heist franchise.

The Spanish crime series "Money Heist," which tells the story of grand heists, debuted in 2017. After moving to the Netflix platform, it became a global phenomenon. Ending in 2021 after its fifth season, the project still holds strong positions: the last three seasons of the show remain in the top ten most popular non-English language series on the service.It is obvious that Netflix is not ready to say goodbye to such a successful brand. On May 9, a short promo video teasing the expansion of the cinematic universe appeared on the platform's official accounts. At the moment, the creators have not revealed whether this will be a direct continuation or new side stories. Previously, the universe was already expanded: in 2022, a Korean remake was released (limited to one season), and at the end of 2023, the successful prequel "Berlin," dedicated to one of the main characters of the original, premiered. The premiere of the second season of "Berlin" is scheduled for May 15.
