Apple TV+ published the debut trailer for the miniseries "Lucky," adapted from the bestselling novel by Marisa Stapley. The main character is a professional con artist forced to flee after a failed job. She is simultaneously hunted by federal agents and a ruthless crime boss.
The lead role is played by Anya Taylor-Joy, who also served as one of the project's producers. The showrunner is Jonathan Tropper, known for the series "Friends and Neighbors," whose second season premiered in April on the same platform.
The premiere of "Lucky" is scheduled for July 15. The series will consist of seven episodes.
